After being in the campground business for 30 years (formerly a Koa campground) my mother and I decided to become an independent campground in October of 2016. We had always used computer software to handle our campground with online reservations so that was going to be the biggest challenge for us to find that would work for here. We are a small campground on 3 ½ acres with a 100 RV sites. Our turnaround is daily because of the closeness and being an in town RV stop. We are located only a mile from Louisville Kentucky so we have short term camper stays daily and stay busy year around. We needed a software program and website that was going to work for us, different lengths of sites and types, so I began researching on the internet to find something compatible for what we were used to using as a Koa. I tested different campground, resort, hotel and boat dock software’s and was not fascinated about them. I then found somewhere on the internet that Brian McGuinn had been at a Koa convention or meeting and was researching software programs for Southeast Publications.
